Hi Kindra,
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that you say you had a wrong first impression of Elon Musk because I'm sure I would say the same thing. I had the same assumptions that you did about him just being super rich. After reading your description of the book, I definitely want to read it myself. He seems almost superhuman in his ability to dream things up and make them happen. But really, as is the case with many successful entrepreneurs, he has just mastered the art of working super hard. I'd love to learn more about his journey to get to where he is today. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Kindra,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post because I was interested in reading this book but couldn’t get ahold of it in time. I thought it was interesting because I also saw him as a playboy billionaire but your post helped to enlighten me on his true character. I would also be interested in knowing what his next big venture is and would want to talk to him on how he would see life on Mars is.

Hi Kindra! Similar to you, I had preconceived notions about Elon Musk, but I too find it refreshing to learn that he genuinely wants to help people and create a better world through his work. I also appreciate his work ethic and how committed he is into transforming his vision into a reality. This quality is something that seems to tie all successful entrepreneurs together. There is no substitute for grinding to make your dreams a reality.
ReplyDeleteI also didn’t know much about Elon Musk and would have had the same perspective about him. It does take a lot to make a vision a reality and those who are able to accomplish that have a gift! It also doesn’t surprise me that he is a workaholic. It seems that those who are highly intelligent strive to be successful and measure that as their success instead of a well-balanced life.
